Also, I have only had a tall glass of liquid caffeine today, no real food, so I'm a bit jittery. Wheee~!
Yesterday I visited my dad. We had lunch and awkward conversation and he checked my car engine for me. Afterwards, I went over to Al's house and we hung out. Worked on the picture-poem-thingee for a bit. Then we did some fortune reading. I read for her using the tarot twice. Um, lets just say that they weren't happy readings. She did a tarot reading and a rune reading on me. I am apparently wise and materialistic. Who knew? Then we decided that we were Christian Hosefites, after making up a cool divination technique of our own and trying to come up with a pagan religion. Heh.
Oh, by the way, in case you didn't get it, that last post about me being a nun was a joke. I am not now, nor have I ever considered becomming a nun. Not being Catholic probably has something to do with that.
I seem to have religion on the brain. Huh.
And you know what's kind of stupid? Neuroscientists have, like, a half dozen different names for every single area/structure of the brain! It's stupid! And inconsistent. For instance, the primary visual cortex is also called the striate cortex, v1, and area 17. Why can't they choose just one!?! Stupid neuroscientists making it hard on us students... *mutter mutter*
Today I must write papers. Fortunately, the paper I'm presenting at the conference is almost finished, just needs a bit of touch up. Unfortunately, I have papers for classes that I have to write, too. *sigh* Four of them. All due on Tuesday. Oy! No problemo, though, I'm good.
Last Friday, Tsarina and I went to the club and watched lots of fun anime. Yay, anime! Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar is SOOOOOOOOOO cute! Cute! Also with the cuteness were the porvolas from King of Bandits Jing. Porvolas are these ADORABLE fuzzy things that can cause mass destruction. They blow up with the force of an atomic bomb. I want one! Cute fuzzy bombs, yay!
Yes, I can distinguish between fantasy and reality, I just don't want to. :-P
