alone on a swing

Weekend Report

Saturday started off bad and got worse. And then worse. Then it got better, and that was nice. I won't go into all the details (too painful) but the culmination of crap was finding that someone shot out one of the windows in my car. Glass all over the seat. Duct tape for a window. Will probably never find the little shit that did it. Was most likely a kid who did it by accident and ran, or a malicious bastard who just likes ruining people's days and maybe even doesn't mind if s/he hurts anyone.

Grrr.

But I had fun with a friend. Mall, Cost Plus, Cheesecake Factory. Bought a cool black lace see-through shirt (wear a black bra underneath and I'm set) and a Japanese-style hand painted parasol. Very pretty.

Today I went to IHOP for breakfast and then bought groceries. Sister came over for lunch and some chatting and her kids jumped up and down on me. Mark was encouraging them. I must think of a way to get back at him, but all I can think of is the old plastic-cockroaches-in-his-cereal trick, and I've done that too many times already. Suggestions?

I took a nap, then watched the first part of the Diamondbacks/Yankees games (go Diamondbacks!), and then I was off to meet with my Neuroscience research group at Borders. I go to Borders WAY too much. I was bad. I bought an expensive book with money not my own. Heh. Um...

Oh, I didn't study for my Abnormal Psychology exam tomorrow, but I'm sure I'll do fine. Well, hopefully I'll do fine. Yeah.
