alone on a swing

Friday was the first official meeting of the Anime Club for the new semester. Yay! There were a LOT of people there. We had a booth at freshman orientation so many of them were newbies. Rowdy bunch. But anime, ah, good stuff...

Yesterday, after picking up some library books, I picked up Alseides and Oshun. We went to dinner and then they stayed the night. We watched Weiss Kreuz, episodes 1-5 first. I must say, I was a bit disappointed, but it did grow on me. I still want to know what Omi's past deep trauma is, since we only covered the other three in the first episodes. Anyway, after that we played many games of Bomberman and then watched the first three eps of NightWalker. Yay, Shido! Oshun borrowed eps 1-6 and Al borrowed eps 7-12 of NightWalker. Hope they enjoy them.

This morning, after a few more rounds of Bomberman on Mark's Playstation2, I took them back and then met mum and Mark at Sierra's for brunch. Yum. Went home, took a nap. My sisty's son came over to help Mark cook up a wonderful meal and then the rest of his family came over and we ate it all up. Very very very GOOD food. He's gonna be a chef someday, that boy is. All he watches on TV is the Food Network.

In other news, I'm currently downloading more of Tenshi na Konamaiki and I've already picked up some episodes of Samurai Deeper Kyo, Chobits, Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai, and Azumanga Daioh. And Mark picked up some more CD-R's so I can now burn them and send copies off to friends! Let's see, I have Laura on my list for the rest of Fruits Basket and all of I My Me! Strawberry Eggs and the gracious Starkiller on my list for random-sampling-of-good-anime, but does anyone else want anything? I like spreading the anime love. ^_^
