for some reason, i feel like writing this like i'm pissed off, so here you go
I like blogs. So do other people. I find this
article/review/awards thingee very interesting. I'll have to check out more of those blogs. The scary thing is that I already read two of them regularly and am thinking of adding Bill Shatner's to my list. Fear me.
School long. Have no idea what topic to pick for my experiment. I also have no partner yet. I know this makes me a bad person, totally un-PC and prejudiced and all, but I don't want to get stuck doing my experiment with the blind chick. I'm bad.
I don't want to go to school tomorrow. There will be all sorts of... THINGS going on involving wearing black, lighting candles, and singing patriotic shit. Fuck that. But I have to go, so I'll go, and I'll attend my lab and my lectures and my meeting with intentional blindness.
I have joined the Harry/Snape story challenge list thingee. I've gotten my challenge and have already written a good three pages of it. Yes, I wrote them today in class while I should have been taking notes. Yes Al, I wrote Harry/Snape instead of writing our Ron/Draco, yes the sky is blue and I wish I were too.
Ishii was worse than they thought and the Dodgers are holding onto their Wild Card spot by the skin of their teeth. But, you know, teeth don't really have skin, so yeah. Stupid bad mean Giants. Grr.
I have been reading Crystal Singer
by Anne McCaffrey again (yes, I fucking KNOW I should be reading my school assignments), but this time I'm reading a British edition of the book I picked up in London several years ago. Funky. Odors is spelled "odours" and rightly is spelled "reightly" and I'm tickled pink that the publisher is named after a breed of dog. Every time I find a spiffy word that is spelled differently in England than in America I get this yeeble-y jolt of funness. I bought several British editions of McCaffrey's stuff. I think I shall have to read more of them, just because.
I have not watched Maze
yet. My week is running out. I must watch all 13 episodes before Friday. Oh dear.
