Welp, Christmas is over. It's sad, but at the same time, I'm relieved. My sisty's home was decorated nicely. Everyone had a good time, I think. Just... eh, you know, FAMILY. My aunt was even more trippy-dippy-hippy insane than usual. She's got this whole Mormon/spiritualist thing going on. Weird. My grandmum didn't seem too whacked, but I did mostly avoid her so I wouldn't really know. Everyone else was just their normal selves. Mark and I hid and played pinball quite a lot, sisty's hubbie was mostly silent, as usual. It was nice.
Plus! I got prezzies!
an itty bitty digital camera from Mark (he got it free, but it's still really cool), the due South
season one DVD, the Logan's Run
DVD (I love that movie!), and volume seven of Banana Fish
toffee, colored pencils, a Spider-Man book, and a Border's gift card from my sisty
some funky new-age-y book and an even more funky spiritual-weirdness video (Merkabah, anyone?) from my aunt
three mystery novels, all four Harry Potter books (the British editions, heh), two t-shirts (one with "End Global Warming" on it and one with the White Tara avatar on it), a calendar of Josephine Wall's art (this icon is from one of her paintings, just for reference), and a box of bath-stuff from my mum
plus, other little bits that I've forgotten
AND, Mark made pumpernickel bread. Mmmmm, yum.
