Things I did today (or technically, yesterday).

After figuring out that SOMETHING I downloaded within the last four months (some codec or driver or something) screwed with my PowerDVD, I finally managed to watch the first two episodes of Due South today (with MediaPlayer). Ahh, yes, mmm, Fraser... But I want Kowalski, too! However, first-season-Dief is better than the dog they got later.

Later, I went to Anime Club. *giggle* We so whack! Everyone was all identifying over Comic Party, and I have to admit that I, too, saw my own experiences at Sci-Fi/Anime/Comics conventions reflected there. We had a special engagement tonight, too. The live-action version of Dragonballs. THE MOST CHEESY MOVIE, EVER!!! Seriously. Loads of fun MST-ing it. Afterwards, the Cube for a lovely mint hot chocolate and a bit of convo.

Then what did I do when I got home? Well, I watched anime, of course! Episodes 6-10 of Initial D to be precise. Loved it! Want more! NEED more! Initial D is now officially in my list of top five favs, and it's possibly #1 for anime I find most exciting.

I also did a lot of coloring in my Discordian Coloring Book. I have these shiny metalic pencils now, and they're rather nifty. Coloring is fun! I have colored pencils scattered all over and around my desk. ^_^

registering for classes

Today at precisely 3:00 PM, after an hour of intensive scheduling, I put on "Dragula" by Rob Zombie and set to work registering for my classes by computer. The song wasn't even over when I got the "course full" notice. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Hissssssssss. Moan. Okay, says I, I shall take... Ethics! And thus I signed up for Ethics of Psych along with Brain and Behavior, Comparative Psych, and Psych of Creativity before my unit allotment ran out. When open enrollment commences in exactly nine days, I shall also sign up for Human Factors and two units of Independent Study. But Perception and Cognition is closed to me. *sigh*

However! I did get the class where I get to train little white rats to run mazes. Hee! The only class I'm iffy on is Ethics, 'cause it seriously sounds boring, but hey, it fills a hole in my schedule, so oh well.

And as I have lost all interest in Criminology, I shall be dropping that half of my double major. Maybe I'll replace it with a minor in Anthropology.

The Psychotic Ramblings of a Disturbed Drow Priestess

I went to Cost Plus today and bought random imported stuff! Yay! And a Whistle Pop. I love Whistle Pops! You can play music on them, and then you lick and suck and it's all gone except for the weird sliding stick thingee, which you can then give to your elf-doll, who will use it to hunt the dreaded Shelf Bunny (the lesser cousin of the rabid Dust Bunny). *nods*

Now this is a cause worth supporting. Yes.

I cheated to get this result. Just so ya know.

Which Saturnalia Character are you?

You know what the world needs more of? Takumi/Keisuke yaoi!!! Yes! The Plot Bunnies (the most evil of all bunnies, dark gods of the dreaded Shelf Bunnies and rabid Dust Bunnies) are BREEDING. And somehow, Takumi's Hachi-Roku morphs into a giant flying mecha! Or something like that. Anyway, there needs to be more Takumi/Keisuke fic (like ANY AT ALL). Yah, Takumi needs to dump his whorish excuse for a girlfriend Mogi and get down with the funky younger Takahashi brother. 'Cause, yeah, Keisuke says he hates Takumi, but all that has to come from somewhere, and DUDE, late night chats on backwoods roads!?! Uh-huh, they are SO doing it.

And somehow, Wufei is running around my head in ever tightening circles. I blame all of this on the Discordian Coloring Book.
