Every pirate lives for something different. For some, it's the open sea. For others (the masochists), it's the food. For you, it's definitely the fighting. Even though you're not always the traditional swaggering gallant, your steadiness and planning make you a fine, reliable pirate. Arr!
For anyone on here that actually knows my real name... isn't that result just really really weird!?!
So. Heh. Saturday night I went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean again, this time with Tori (who has seen it SIX times now!!!) and G (like me, she has only seen it two times). Johnny Depp still owns my soul. What, are you looking for analysis and deconstruction of the movie? Well buddy, you're looking in the wrong place! Yay, pirates!
(I spent a few minutes at work looking up pirate books yesterday. Yesss, preciousss... Ooops, mixing fandoms... whatever, Will Turner is an elf... Um, someone please rec me some good PotC fanfic? Pretty please with an Orli on top?)
Last night I went to G's house. She, Tori, and I bought and made yummy food. They exposed me to the weird hokey oddballness of Labyrinth, which I'd never seen before, and we played board games (The Addams Family Reunion and Candyland) while watching The Talented Mr. Ripley, which I'd also never seen before. Freaksome movies. David Bowe is really cheesy and Matt Damon is the devil. Freaky stalker boy. But I was sooooo sleepy, so I went home before we finished watching TTMR. We'll finish it next time.
I am registered for classes, by the way. I'm taking Systems Design, Industrial/Organizational, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Advanced Stats. Yay! I may or may not add more to that schedule, I'm undecided as of yet. Oh, and I really have to start my thesis soon. Really.
Theoden scares me.
