Never let it be said that fish aren't tiring.

I am so tired, omg.

I did not get to go to Kyoto for cherry blossom viewing with Jenny on Monday as was planned because it was raining. Again. Still? Whatever. It was raining. So we went to look at fish, which was nice. I bought post cards! And stuff.

Oh, and jmtorres is awesome for sending me Taltos by Steven Brust and oshunanat is even MORE awesome for sending me The Wizard of Karres by Mercedes Lackey, Eric Flint, and Dave Freer, as well as a bookmark, an issue of "Analog", and a chocolate bunny. ROCK! Yay for the birthday prezzies, Carrie!

So tired. Traipsed all over Sone, Umeda, and Sakurabashi yesterday and today for work training. Imagine two days involving nine hours of learning about paperwork and teaching stuff. Dead tired. Although, today we went to a Vietnamese restaurant for lunch and it was fun freaking out the people there with our total lack of any common language with them. We did the tried and true method of pointing to something on the menu and hoping that it was edible. We think that one of the guys actually managed to order frog. Mine turned out to be nothing so exotic, but it was tasty! Anyway, back to teaching again tomorrow. Bummer. I need a vacation...

Fortunately, one is coming! Thank god for Golden Week, is all I can say.
