OMG, I am leaving Japan in less than 24 hours!!! Duuuuuuude.
I've almost finished doing everything I need to do. I still have to scrub the sink, bathtub, and toilet, wash the mirrors and windows, clean the toaster oven, and scrub the floor. Oh, and finish packing...
Well, I'm more or less finished, really, there just seems to be some extra stuff leftover. Heh. Erm. So, like, two carry-ons doesn't include a shopping bag of stuff, yeah? Like, I can take my backpack, my tiny suitcase, and a nice flower-print paper shopping bag with handles, yeah? Oh, and my stuffed Gamora-chan. And an umbrella. Coat, hat, gloves, armwarmers, etc. Right? Right.
(Also, I really hope I don't have to pay a pentaly for my check through luggage. My trunk seems really heavy, but it was really heavy on the way in, too, so I don't know. Hopefully, it is under 32 kilos. Should be, I would think. I mean, I can lift it, albeit barely. Well, we'll see!)
And, heh, I'm wearing, like, five layers of clothes tomorrow because some stuff didn't fit in my suitcase.
Damn, I hope they don't make me open my suitcases, because if they went through them I'm not sure I could close them again!
Also, I still don't know how I'm getting to the airport. If I can just make it to Umeda, I should be shiny. But. Umeda feels like a very distant place when trying to lug around a ton of baggage while wearing high heels (I threw out my other shoes). So. I shall, perhaps, go to the nearby big street and sit there looking forlorn until some sympathetic taxi driver stops and agrees to take me to Umeda. Can't be too hard, right? Riiiiiiiiiiight. Taxis don't seem to come to these parts often. Well, wish me luck, anyway!
