Dad's back from Mississippi, so he came up here and then we went to Ojai today. It's just what we do. He was a bit sick, so I drove. It was a lovely lovely drive. Winter in Southern California is the only time we get a bit of green on the mountains, and everything was blooming and beautiful. The drive through Happy Valley was gorgeous. So we did our usual thing and went to Sea Fresh for fish sandwiches and to Bart's Books for books. Bart's certainly has novelty value. A used book shop open to the air, with spider webs and other stuff hanging around it, bookshelves with rusty metal overhangs surrounding an open courtyard, all this in what was once a private house with cats wandering around. I bought some books, plus some stick candy to suppliment the supply I bought at Knott's Berry Farm last weekend.
I got home and took a nap because I had a bit of a headache. And now I'm eating ChaSuBao, although Mark made quiche for dinner. Tomorrow I shall try to divest myself of some comics and figure out what classes I need for the upcoming Spring semester at my new university.
