The Dreamer of a Thousand Names for Starlight

Major burnout. Like, I don't care anymore if the paper I'm writing is good or crap. Actually, I don't really care if I even write it.

My eyes are burning from lack of sleep.

It took me two hours to complete my Stats Med Psych Res homework. It was one problem. The ANOVA took an hour and then the multiple comparison tests (Tukey and Scheffe) took another hour. And I know I didn't do it right. I screwed up somewhere. Guuuhhh...

Okay, I'm going to stop complaining now. Tomorrow I'm going to the dentist for a cleaning. I actually like getting my teeth cleaned because for a few days after my gums ache all nicely and my teeth are all squeaky, sparkly clean. Um hum.

I've decided to take three classes during the summer: Criminal Justice, Child Psych, and Social Problems.

Yesterday I braved the journey to the Student Health Center to clear up my vaccination verification so they'd take the hold off my transcripts so I can register for next semester. Slight problem -- my medical records showing when my vaccinations were have my third name on them while my school records have my first name on them. Oops! I wish my parents had used my first name for everything, it would make things so much easier. I had to dig out some ID and convince the office people that I really was the person on the records. See, this happens a lot. I use my third name for family and friends and they sometimes forget and make out checks or such to me in that name when for official purposes I need to use my first name. And sometimes I don't know how to introduce myself to people. My third name is private and personal, for use with people I feel close to, whereas my first name is my public persona. It gets odd when I need to switch. I mean, I have friends who I met under my public name but when we got close I asked them to us my private name and it's, like, confusing to them. Me, too, actually. Ah well, I'll stop rambling on about my identity issues...

How much is that dragon in the window? The one with the spikedy tail? How much is that dragon in the window? I do so hope he's for sale.
