You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish.

I've been cleaning out old e-mails from my hotmail account to free up some space. I've run across some rather interesting things. For instance, I currently have an animated sheep running around my desktop. Alseides gave it to me a couple of years ago as a birthday present. It's cute. It's fun going through the old e-mails I thought were important enough to save but have since forgotten about!

In an e-mail from November 10, 1999, Alseides asks and I answer:
>you still there?

Define "there." Can we truly ever point to a place and say "look, over there!" I mean, once you actually look, "there" has already changed. That "there" no longer actually exists. The concept of "there" is one of a certain point in space and time. Once the word "there" is uttered, it becomes meaningless because it no longer exists (if it ever objectively existed in the first place). So, to answer your question, let me pose another: How can someone truly be "there" if the changing nature of reality never allows the stability of the conceptual form?

I was trippin'.

I found this really cool 2x5 story Gabriel Orion wrote for me on request. Love it love it love it! Wheeeee!

Eek, the sheep just crashed burning into a bathtub! Ah well, soon the aliens will get it.
